This application note outlines the use of hpPCR™ for monitoring SARS-CoV- 2 variants in Sweden through wastewater analysis. Despite wastewater being a notoriously difficult sample matrix for molecular detection, it is herein demonstrated that our technology can provide state-of-the-art performance compared to qPCR and NGS as gold standard methods. The results highlight the powerful potential of hpPCR as a next-gen PCR technology to tackle any application facing limitations today such as specificity, sensitivity, multiplexity and throughput.
